Worth it or Not? | Huda Beauty Obsessions Palettes Review + Gemstone Obsession Palette Swatches

I’m sure you’ve seen the huge hype around the Huda Beauty Obsession Palettes, especially now that Huda Beauty came out with their two new obsessions palettes: Gemstone obsessions and Coral obsessions. Today I’m going to review the obsessions palettes, and tell you whether they are worth it or not!

So I’m going to start this off by giving a little disclaimer: I don’t really buy makeup. Before you call me a liar, hear me out. My beautiful mother (check out her account here) has one of the world’s most glorious makeup collections, and she is generous enough to let me pretty much use anything whenever I want. Anything else that I get is either usually given to me by her or received as PR. However, there is that rare occasion where I try something from her, and I like it so much, that I have to own it, because I know I’ll hit pan very quickly. These Obsessions palettes were one of those items. I got to tell you, I really like these palettes!

First off, I love the price point. Each palette costs $27 and works for a huge range of looks! So rather than just getting a palette for one look, you’re getting it for many. For an example, when I got the Warm Brown Obsessions Palette, I was able to create both rust/copper colored looks and some slightly more cool toned looks (see one here).

The formula is honestly sooo amazing too. The shadows are super soft and blendable, and they’re definitely some of my favorite palettes, if not my top favorites. The matte shades are really soft and have such a seamless matte finish. The shimmers are also super pigmented. They can be a little bit chalky at times though. If you are sensitive to chalky eyeshadows, this might be something to take into mind. I really do like the shimmers though and love applying the shimmers to my lid with my fingers sometimes.

I love that Huda Beauty made Obsessions Palettes for almost any type of look you would want to do including Smokey, Warm Brown, Mauve, Electric, Gemstone, and Coral looks (which is the only one that I do not own). They are all sooo gorgeous! My favorite is probably the Warm Brown Obsessions Palette, because it’s definitely a palette I wear and can wear more often than the others. I even hit pan and made dents in a few shades already (not shown in photos). I’ve included swatches of all the obsessions palettes I own.

Overall, I love these palettes. They are definitely worth the price and are so amazing. Whether you use a lot of makeup or are looking for a first palette, I would totally recommend these! These are definitely some of my top, go to palettes for any look!

Thank you for reading today’s blog post! Have you tried any of the Obsessions Palettes? Let me know in the comments! Bye loves!

  1. I didn’t know they were only 27$. That’s like paying $3 a shadow. That price is amazing. I haven’t had the chance to try them yet. I always thought they would be expensive so I just stuck with morphe and drug store pallets. Thank you show much for this review. I love following you on IG ♥

    1. I was so amazed by the price too! I tend to prefer less expensive palettes too like Morphe and Colourpop, but these ones are soooo worth it! Thank you so much for reading! Also, good luck with the giveaway! I appreciate the love! 💗💗
