$5 Blouses? – Girl Merry Review

Hey loves! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written an article. I just finished up my senior year, graduated high school, and finished planning my plans for next year! This year was crazy, but I’m super excited for my new adventures. And I’m back now! I’m hoping to be able to pull out the time to write more articles, but if not, please follow along with my Instagram @hannahjacquelinee! It’s a lot easier for me to be active there.

Today I’m sharing with you another steal! I definitely consider myself a deal finder. I mean, I’ve gotten $20 dresses from Urban Outfitters before! How much better can you get? Well, when Girl Merry reached out to me, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The prices were UNREAL though, so I had to try them! The shirts range from about $5-$7 and I picked these three:

Black Puffed Sleeve Blouse

Red Off-the-Shoulder Top

Black Peasant Sleeve Blouse

Let’s just say I was really happily surprised by these. The first top has puff sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. If you know me, you know I’m in love with puff sleeves, so this definitely caught my eye. And the shirt totally passed my expectations. I mean, look at it. It’s absolutely beautiful!

The pleats on the front gave it the top such a unique look. The only downside about it was that the shirt had no stretch, so if you do decide to purchase, make sure you go a size up. I expected it to be a stretchy material, so it’s a little tight on me. Besides that, I love it! The back of the top is super pretty and the zippers were good quality too!

The next shirt I got was a red off the shoulder, tie-sleeve shirt. Again, zero disappointments with it. It’s super comfortable and cute on. This shirt had more stretch than the other one too, so the smaller size worked just fine. It’s a super cute blouse for summer, as it’s bright and airy. I love the ruffles on the sleeves, the bottom of the shirt, and the neckline.

The last shirt I got was this button-up tie back, peasant sleeve shirt. This shirt fit perfectly! The sleeves, the neckline, and the buttons were all so nice, so I’m still shocked that this is a $7 shirt. I also love that the shirt itself wasn’t shear – just the sleeves.

This top also had the cutest buttons/latches. They were super unique and very high in quality.

Overall, if you’re looking to try a super affordable brand, definitely check out Girl Merry. They’ve got some really cute, dirt-cheap items! Bye loves!

Tassels for Days or Just for a Short Time?

Tassels were very in trend during the 1920s, and I have since seen them go in and out of trend. Recently, I am pleased to say that I’ve seen tassels in quite a few other places. From along the arm of leather jackets to tiny ones on shoes, people have been obsessed with this new fad. Continue reading “Tassels for Days or Just for a Short Time?”
